Originally introduced for the 2011 model year, the Lexus CT 200h is the Japanese brand’s answer to the likes of the Audi A3. It replaced the slow-selling Lexus HS 250h, a rebadged Japanese market Toyota Sai, and features a hybrid powertrain lifted from the previous-generation Toyota Camry Hybrid. Powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four coupled to an electric motor, the CT 200h has a total system output of 134 hp, the same as the outgoing third-generation Toyota Prius.

With an EPA fuel economy rating of 43/40 mpg city/highway, the CT 200h is one of the most fuel efficient entry-level premium cars on sale today. Soon after the model debuted, Lexus introduced an F Sport variant with unique suspension tuning and styling tweaks to differentiate it from the standard CT 200h.
